DNV offers verification services of your inventory of hazardous materials in accordance with the newly adopted Ship Recycling Convention. After successful review of your inventory and completion of applicable surveys, we will issue a statement of compliance.

Purpose

Issuance of our statement of compliance is based on:

• Review and verification of the inventory of hazardous materials

• Review and verification of applicable supporting documents; (material declarations, supplier declarations of conformity, location map, laboratory sampling results, relevant drawings and other documentation as appropriate)

• Review of the Visual/Sampling Check Plan

• Satisfactory completion of applicable surveys (initial, renewal, additional or final)

• Verification of the Ship Recycling Plan (Ready for Recycling only)

Benefits

DNV will issue a Certificate of Compliance on behalf of those administrations that ratify the ship recycling convention and have authorised DNV to act on their behalf. For vessels flying flags of states that have not ratified the convention, DNV will issue a Statement of Compliance in accordance with the Ship Recycling Convention.
