Together with the Leif Hoegh newbuildings at Daewoo shipyard, the Wilhelmsen order at Mitsubishi and the long car carrier series for Ray Car Carriers Ltd. at Gdynia shipyard, these contracts confirm DNV's strong position in this ship segment.   [10/12/2003] Environmental Class Following their introduction in January 2000, the class notations CLEAN and CLEAN DESIGN have attracted more than 110 ships. Of these, 70 are now sailing with CLEAN class notation. The stricter CLEAN DESIGN notation has attracted 10 vessels, of which eight are sailing.
